Calne Community Neighbourhood Plan - Call for Sites

Part of the CCNP review will assess future need for local housing and infrastructure development. To identify an initial long-list of potential sites, CCNP Steering Group is calling upon landowners and agents of land in Calne Town Council or Calne Without Parish Council areas to put forward sites for consideration within the Neighbourhood Plan.

This is an informal opportunity to propose sites within the CCNP area, and no decision has been made to identify land for development in the CCNP. Site suggestions received through this call for sites will be appropriately assessed to inform the preparation of the updated Neighbourhood Plan and any potential sites it proposes for future development.

If you want a site/s to be considered by the CCNP Steering Group, we should like to hear from you.

The sites need not be in your ownership if you have a responsibility for managing them and they can be proposals for a wide

range of development uses. (In this context, the term ‘development’ applies to any use of land within the boundaries of the Calne Community Neighbourhood Plan.

It is important that you submit the site submission form for each site suggested (available below).

Please submit the sites to be considered to Calne Community Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group via the email address CCNPAdmin@calne.gov.uk or by post to CCNP Steering Group, c/o Calne Town Council, Bank House, The Strand, Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 0EN no later than 14th October 2022.
